Wayfarer Wines

Wayfarer wines come from our organically farmed estate vineyard in Sonoma's Fort Ross-Seaview AVA.  Perched above the fog on a rugged ridgeline just four miles from the coast and surrounded by redwood forest, generous sunshine and chilly ocean air combine to yield wines with a signature that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world.

Our flagship Pinot Noir and Chardonnay 'The Estate' encapsulate the truest representation of our estate vineyard each vintage.  Our multiple clonal selections are planted in individual blocks on both east and west facing slopes, providing myriad expressions of clone, aspect, elevation and microclimate that reveal the complex character of Wayfarer Vineyard.

The ‘Block Selection’ Pinot Noirs and Chardonnay – Mother Rock, Golden Mean, Paige’s Ridge, The Traveler and Cuvée Cleo – are two to six-barrel bottlings that showcase especially compelling and distinctive clonal selections and micro-parcels of Wayfarer Vineyard. The Block Selections are released once per year in September via allocation to our mailing list and to our Membership

Ways of Wayfarer

Ways of Wayfarer wines carry forward the past with a fresh vision.

Ways of Wayfarer Chardonnay pays tribute to the first chapter of the Pahlmeyer legacy with fruit from Waters Ranch Vineyard — planted by Jayson Pahlmeyer in the late 1990s and still owned by the family today. Now, Cleo Pahlmeyer is reimagining the vineyard's storied history under the Ways of Wayfarer label, beginning with the Chardonnay, and followed by a Merlot and Red Blend, releasing starting in 2027.

Ways of Wayfarer Pinot Noir breaks new ground in the Pahlmeyer story with Prince Hill Vineyard, located in the heart of Oregon's prized Dundee Hills.  Cleo's long-held dream to make Oregon wine was realized with the opportunity to make Pinot Noir from this historic vineyard.
